United Axle Introduces Threaded Replaceable Spindle

New Replaceable Spindle Demo at the GATS

United Axle developed a new threaded replaceable spindle, which according to the company, will reduce repair time for tractors and trailers. The spindle is manufactured in the U.S. with threads on the end that go up into the axle housing, which makes it the first replaceable spindle of its kind.

Todd Carroll, the founder and owner of United Axle states, "This new process can be a huge cost savings to the transportation industry and we are excited to present our new replaceable spindle at the Great American Trucking Show."

The company describes the spindle as serviceable due to the fact that the axle tubes are integrated with threads at the time of installation to accept the new spindle. Once threading is complete, the new spindle is twisted into place. The initial install is completed in under three hours. If the spindle were ever in need of replacement again, it can be easily removed and another installed easily and quickly.

United Axle has expanded their service area to include not only the Tulsa area, but also Joplin, MO and northwest Arkansas locations and are seeking qualified individuals to partner with by offering franchise licensing opportunities to offer services across the United States.
